Language requirements

In what language are classes taught at Epitech?

Epitech courses are taught in French and in English

Undergraduate courses are taught in French, graduate courses in English.

Do I need to take a French exam?

If you are applying for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year, you will need to either pass the Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (D.A.L.F.) with a minimum score of 5 or the Test de Connaissance du Français (T.C.F.) with a minimum of 6, or 5 with at least 10/20 on an optional course.

Do I need to take a French exam if my previous classes
were taught in French?

If you can provide evidence of at least 2 consecutive years within the last 5 years taught in French you do not have to take the D.A.L.F. or T.C.F. However, you need to provide an official letter from your university as proof. If you have studied less than 2 consecutive years within the last 5 years, taking one of the two language tests (D.A.L.F. or T.C.F.) is mandatory.

An international experience is not compulsory for me. But I decided to go to France, and especially to Epitech, thanks to my Dean of studies. He had had many Epitech studies as exchanges and was aware of Epitech’s unique hands-on pedagogy. I especially loved the fact that as a student I was put at the center of the learning - we are so autonomous at Epitech. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone.
