What type of visa do I need to apply for?
You will need to request a student visa. Once you have been admitted to Epitech, we will provide you with your official acceptance letter which you will need for your visa paperwork.
Will EPITECH assist me in getting
a “carte de séjour”?
Epitech will assist you with the “Préfecture de Police” as well as guiding you through the process of obtaining your “carte de séjour”.
Insurance
How about insurance?
As a French student you are required to register with one of the two French student social security insurance: LMDE or SMEREP. Once this is completed, you will benefit from the French social security system as any French citizen would. Our staff will be happy assist you in this process.
When do I need to get insurance in France ?
As soon as you register as an Epitech student you will need to register for your French insurance. This is compulsory by law.
Housing
Does Epitech provide on campus housing?
Epitech does not provide on campus housing. However, Epitech will organize an informational meeting and assist you in this process.
How much does housing cost?
Housing depends on several criteria. It depends if you live in Paris or in the suburbs, if you share a flat, or live in a student residence.
Working
How many hours am I allowed to work according to immigration laws?
As a student, you are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week.
Can Epitech help me find a job?
Epitech has partnership agreements with a great number of IT companies. The Epitech Career Center will assist students in finding a part-time job or an internship. Please be aware that fluency in French is required.

Je n'ai pas eu à regretter ma décision

Lorsque j'ai obtenu ma licence d'électronique en Chine, j'ai souhaité poursuivre mes études en France. Immédiatement, mon choix s'est porté sur l'EPITECH pour deux raisons. D'une part, pour la formation qu'elle propose puisqu'elle correspond parfaitement au projet professionnel auquel j'aimerais aboutir. D'autre part, pour sa pédagogie innovante et révolutionnaire : en Chine, la plupart des formations sont encore très classiques et beaucoup moins poussées que celle de l'EPITECH.
Je n'ai pas eu à regretter ma décision, dès mon arrivée je me suis senti tout à fait à l'aise. Les professeurs et les élèves m'ont réservé un formidable accueil que je ne suis pas prêt d'oublier. J'ai, par ailleurs, eu le temps de bien m'adapter au rythme soutenu de l'école : comme tous les étudiants, j'ai suivi des stages de longue durée inclus dans la formation puis j'ai intégré un groupe pour réaliser mon projet de fin d'études : EPITECH Innovative Project qui sera, évidement, présenté en anglais, en français et en chinois !
